Duke-Carolina Student Basketball Marathon
Saturday, November 17 at 9:00 AM, Rams Head Recreation Center

Because any time you have the chance to watch some dookies get crushed, you gotta do it.  The Duke-Carolina Student Basketball Marathon is an annual, all-day charity event comprised of friendly basketball games between 28 teams from Duke and UNC-CH. All funds raised by the event will be donated to BounceBack Kids, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that provides support and enriching recreational activities to children who are suffering life challenging illnesses and their families. The marathon, which will be played in Rams Head Recreation Center on the campus of UNC-CH, will begin on November 17, 2012 at 9 a.m. and last until midnight. In addition to basketball games being played consistently, spectators and players will be treated to a half time show featuring the kids of BounceBack Kids. Individuals are encouraged to get involved at whatever level, player, donor, or sponsor, if they are able to. For more information about the event visit or contact Jamie Creed via telephone at (336) 971-1614 or via email at

Have a safe and healthy weekend, Heels!
