Recruiting Spring 2019
Healthy Heels Ambassadors (hha!) are leaders on campus that aim to empower fellow Tar Heels, through public health and prevention principles, in making well-informed decisions about their health, wellness, and safety to create a healthier Carolina. hha! will have the opportunity to facilitate workshops related to various wellness topics throughout the academic year, as well as coordinate events and social media content to raise awareness and educate the Carolina community. All currently enrolled UNC students (graduate and undergraduate) are welcome and encouraged to apply
To apply to become an hha!, please visit https://tinyurl.com/hha2019. Applications are open January 22nd, 2019 through February 17th, 2019. Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to interview on Tuesday, February 19th. In person interviews will be held the week of February 25th.

What We Do
hha!’s communicate the programs, activities, and resources offered by the Healthy Heels collaborative Student Wellness, Campus Health, CAPS and Campus Rec. You can find us tabling at events, implementing core initiatives, facilitating programs around wellness, and more. We educate the masses and have fun doing it!

How We Do It
Tabling: Want Healthy Heels at an event? Feel free to request us to table! We will show up to offer health information and resources related to Student Wellness, Campus Health, CAPS, and Campus rec. Free incentives can be included. 🙂
Programs: We’ve been trained to offer programs to help you understand, navigate, and explore your wellness. Request us for a program!
Tracks: Two tracks are offered – Health Promotion and Violence Prevention.
Health Promotion track members will increase knowledge and skills related to stress management, sleep, holistic wellness, and social norming, presenting workshops such as:
- Sleep for Success
- Stress Management 101
- #KnowThySelfie
- Dimensions of Wellness/Self-Care
- Who You Gonna Call? Norm Busters!
- Healthy Relationships 101
Violence Prevention track members will increase knowledge and skills related to bystander intervention and healthy masculinities, presenting workshops such as:
- One ACT
- One ACT for Greeks
- Masculinities 101
